Alexander & Baldwin Sugar Museum - Description

A few miles away from Paia the "Alexander & Baldwin Sugar Museum" is located. It is next to the last sugar cane plantation, which has been closed since 2017. Here you can get closer to the history of Maui's sugar cane industry and marvel at old artefacts. You get a wonderful insight into how sugar cane was grown and harvested and the role Alexander & Baldwin played in this sector.

The museum is located in the former home of a general manager of Hawaii's largest sugar company, in the small community of Puʻunene.
