If you drive south from Paia and turn into Alawai Road, you will reach a long white sandy beach after a short time named Baldwin Beach Park, the section of which at the western end is the Baby Beach and the eastern end leads to the Baldwin Cove .
Baldwin Beach is due to its size and spaciousness a beach where you can find peace and quiet and which is never crowded. Especially in winter, it is a popular surfing and bodyboarding spot, but in summer it is wonderful for swimming or snorkelling, as the sea is rather calm.
Tip: In the Mana Foods (49 Baldwin Avenue) in Paia, fresh delicacies are available every day at the buffet to go. They range from salads, wraps and hot dishes to desserts and cakes. All ingredients are organic. The offer is mostly vegetarian, there is also some vegan, as well as a few dishes with meat or fish. Put a delicious box together and enjoy it on the beach.
