Wailea Beach - description

Dream beach with hustle and bustle - Wailea Beach

A long sandy beach, lined with palm trees and crystal clear sea water make Wailea Beach one of the most beautiful and also most popular beaches in the world. However, this perfection makes for a lot of hustle and bustle, numerous visitors and also resort guests cavort on the beach every day.

Wailea Beach in the south of Maui shines with a beautiful wide sandy beach, which invites you to throw your everyday worries overboard. The water slopes shallowly, washes onto the beach in gentle waves, and is ideal for swimming. On the two rocky outcrops, which are located at the ends of the beach, numerous corals as well as colorful fish can be observed at close range while snorkeling. Those who want to plunge into the cool waves with their board will get their money's worth further out. No matter if beginner or pro, perfect waves for surfing or bodyboarding form off the beach. Those who love peace and solitude should better visit the beach in the early morning to avoid the rush of the many resort guests. On the other hand, if you don't mind the hustle and bustle on the beach, you'll feel right at home at other times of the day as well. From the beach you have an excellent view of the offshore islands of Lanai, Molokai and Kaho'olawe. A special highlight at Wailea Beach, every year in the winter months whales pass by here on their journey. You can see them only rarely, but the call of the whales can be heard all the way to the beach.

Right next to the beach there is a large area with free parking for visitors.

What we say

Tommy
Beautiful, but also very well-known beach due to the adjacent resorts. If you go here in the morning, you can still find a shady place to lie down.
