An artificially created peninsula at the foot of the Ala Moana Beach Parks offers safe and quiet swimming and snorkeling, especially for little kids. By using stone walls, a protected pool in the sea has been built. It keeps away the high waves and strong current but not Hawaii's colorful underwater world.

You have a great view of Diamond Head and the Waikiki skyline from the beach. A visit here can be easily combined with a stroll through the Ala Moana Shopping Center .

Special highlight: fireworks take place here every Friday.
