This section of Honolulu beach is especially popular with families because the sea here is very shallow and the current is rather weak. The conditions for safe snorkelling or swimming are also very good for little kids.

The beach is located between the War Memorial Natatorium and the New Otani Kaimana HotelIt takes a 10-15 minute walk from the very busy Waikiki Beach in the direction of Diamond Head.

The large lawn in the background serves as a comfortable sunbathing area, which also has shady spots due to the trees. Just opposite is the zoo, where a visit is also worthwhile.

So if you like it a bit quieter, you shouldn't miss this beach when visiting Honolulu.
