Kailua Beach - Beschreibung

A wonderful place to watch the hustle and bustle of Waikiki and spend a quiet day at the beach. The sea and the beach could not be more beautiful, the scenery is gorgeous and exactly how you dream of a beach on a South Sea island. The sea is crystal clear and azure, the sand fine and white that it almost dazzles and in the distance, you have a view of other small islands.

This section of Oahu's coast is very popular with windsurfers and kitesurfers, but the conditions are not suitable for surfing, as the water is usually calm and there are hardly any waves. The entrance to the water remains shallow for a long time so that especially small children can swim, splash and snorkel in a relaxed way.

The Kailua Bayis divided into three sections: Kailua Beach Park, Kalama Beach Park and Castles Beach. Due to its length, it is a great beach for an extended walk.

What we say

Tommy
A great beach to try standup paddle in the calm waters or to paddle a kayak to Popoia Island.
