Magic Island Lagoon - Description

An artificially created peninsula at the foot of the Ala Moana Beach Parks offers safe and quiet swimming and snorkeling, especially for the little ones. By the stone walls one has created here a kind of pool in the sea and keeps away the partly high waves and the current, but not Hawaii's colorful underwater world.

From the beach you have a great view of Diamond Head and the Waikiki skyline. A visit here can be beautifully combined with a stroll through the Ala Moana Shopping Center Connect.

Special highlight: fireworks take place here every Friday.

What we say

Tommy
The visit to this beach should in any case be combined with a stroll in the Ala Moana shopping center. Even though the lagoon is artificial, it is really beautiful and you can spend nice hours here.
Our checklist & tips:
  • Shady places for picnic available
  • Family friendly
  • Diving school on site
  • Restaurants within walking distance
  • Fireworks every Friday
