Leleiwi Beach Park - Beschreibung

The Leleiwi Beach Park (Wai'uli) on Kalanianaole Avenue is a popular but uncrowded snorkeling spot a few miles east of Hawaii's capital, Hilo.

The park is characterized by natural lava rock pools where exploring the tropical underwater world in an area protected from the waves is possible even for smaller children.

In the park there are shady places to have a picnic and enjoy the day in a relaxed way. Barbecue places for grilling are also available, as well as covered picnic tables.

What we say

Tommy
The beach park is a popular place especially among the locals with children. The green sea turtles (Honu) also like to stop here to sunbathe.
