Honoliʻi Beach Park - Beschreibung

Just a few miles north of Hilo is this surf beach popular among locals. Surfing has a long tradition in Hawaii, so even the little ones learn to move on the board in the waves. On this beach, according to locals, surfing can be learned well because of the conditions. It should not be forgotten that surfing is in the blood of the Hawaiians. Those who have no experience at all with this sport should not try it here, the current and the waves are not to be underestimated.

The beach park consists of black sand and rocks, access is via stairs. A lifeguard ensures the safety of water sports enthusiasts and provides information about the current surf conditions, there is a toilet and picnic area here.
