Dream beach with hustle and bustle - Wailea Beach

A long sandy beach with palm trees and crystal clear sea water make Wailea Beach one of the most beautiful and also most popular beaches in the world. However, this perfection results in a lot of hustle and bustle, numerous visitors and resort guests cavort on the beach daily.

Wailea Beach in the south of Maui shines with a beautiful wide sandy beach which invites you to throw your everyday worries overboard. The water slopes gently, it washes onto the beach in easy waves and is ideal for swimming. On the two rocky outcrops, located at the ends of the beach, numerous corals and colourful fish can be observed closely while snorkelling. Those who want to plunge into the cool waves with their board will enjoy the waves further out. No matter if beginner or professional, perfect waves for surfing or bodyboarding break off the beach. Those who love peace and solitude should rather visit the beach in the early morning to avoid the rush of the many resort guests. On the other hand, if you don't mind the hustle and bustle on the beach, you'll feel right at home at any time of the day. From the beach, you have an excellent view of the offshore islands Lanai, Molokai and Kaho'olawe. A special highlight at Wailea Beach is the whales that pass by here every year in the winter months. You can see them only rarely but the sounds of the whales can be heard all the way to the beach.

Right next to the beach is a large area with free parking for visitors.

What we say

Tommy
A beautiful but also very well-known beach due to the adjacent resorts. If you go here in the morning, you can still find a shady place to lie down.
