Keālia Beach Park - Description

North of the charming village Capa'a lies this almost one kilometre long, golden yellow and wide sandy beach on the east coast of Kauai. It is one of the most popular surf beaches on the green island. The waves break very constantly here, so the conditions are perfect for surfing and bodyboarding.

At the bay's northern end, the water is somewhat calmer due to a breakwater and thus is also well suited for swimming during the summer months. The entrance to the water here remains quite shallow for a long time.

A visit to Keālia Beach is a great way to combine a day of shopping in Kapa'a with a relaxing end to the day by the sea.

What we say

Tommy
Great beach for a long walk. Watching the surfers or even surfing or bodyboarding yourself is a great pleasure at this beach.
Our checklist & tips:

  • Surfbeach
  • Park at the northern end, there are bathrooms & showers
