Ke'e Beach is located at the far end of the north coast. It is also the beginning of the Napali Coast and the famous Kalalau Trail that leads to Hanakapiai and Kalalau Beach. The water here is so clear and calm during the summer months that you might think you are in a swimming pool. Because of that, the conditions for snorkelling are terrific and the beach is an extremely popular and very well-visited spot.
The beach has a dreamlike scenery with waves in the front and mountains in the background. There is even a small cave in the mountain.
The first two miles of the Kalalau Trail (between Ke'e Beach and Hanakāpīʻai Beach) may be entered by visitors without a ticket. However, to enter the adjacent Hā'ena State Park, a ticket booked well in advance is required (max. 900 visitors per day).
Parking at Hāʻena State Park is limited to 100 spaces, so you should get there very early or arrive by bus shuttle alternatively.
